Matcha Green Tea

Matcha is a type of green tea powder and is traditionally used in the japanese tea ceremony. These days, it is not uncommon to see it used in more modern ways such as in matcha ice cream, mousses, chocolates and other green tea recipes.

Once harvested the leaves are steamed, dried, de-veined and stone-ground to a fine talc-like powder, the powder is very intense and a little goes a long way.
